hold on now, you're exit is here.

I think I am in need of a muse.  I feel like I should blog because I haven't in weeks, but what to write about?

Well I suppose I could go off about the madness that is our lives right now due to the missionaries coming home, weddings to attend, and girls (20-21) getting prego.  It is craziness.

I could write about my wonderful friends and family that I have...you keep me in check. you are always right there with me willing to do anything and everything for me and with me.  you always make me laugh...really, ALWAYS!   I love my frien
ds and family so much. (below - festival of colors....SO much fun!)
I could write about school...but who wants to hear about that?

I did just apply for a job, so cross your fingers.

I am just now writing goals for my future...i will keep you updated with how I follow them.  I intend to stick with it till the end, so wish me the best of luck.

I am really happy right now, although I am lacking a muse, I am still so happy.  I love life and everyday I try to get the most out of it.

Why Dads are THE Best!!

My dad just was in town for this weekend...he just barely left to go back home :(

I am dedicating this post to him, and I realize that he will never read it, but I still want to write this because I am still Daddy's Little Princess and he is my hero.

I love that he is so concerned about every aspect of my life, and even if it isn't interesting to him, he still pretends to be interested in everything that I am doing.  He gives me the absolute best advice when it comes to boys and when they are being stupid ha.
I can tell that he really does hurt when one of his girls are hurting.  You can't get that kind of care and love from anyone else on this earth, except your daddy.  I am so grateful that I can talk to my dad about everything and we can go out skiing and do stupid random things together.  I really value that kind of stuff!  I love updating his ipod with my music...and I love that he really does love it, and doesn't know how to work/update his own ipod.  He is such a wonderful provider for our family and does everything he can to make everyone happy.  He has been through sooo much and I really value his outlook on life, despite everything.  He is my hero, and every man that I date is compared to him!

I LOVE MY DADDY!!!

Beating hearts baby!

3 weeks come and gone and what have I done?  Nothing.

HOWEVER...

I do have some random off the wall thoughts that I would love to get off my chest.

1.  I love finding deep quotes and putting them on facebook so people think im deep...so fun.
2.  does anyone know the best way to get out ALL the peanut butter? I'm scraping up the last little bit but I can't seem to get all of it and that makes me a little sad.
3.  I am extremely happy today...the reason? I finally have had a prayer answered..(its my blog i can say what i want...sue me)! :)
4.  I find that there is no better place to find comfort then the scriptures and prayer...i found that out the hard way.  I just read other books and talked to other people before I really took my 'issues' to the one that knows what I should be doing better then ANYONE else.
5.  Why are people so in a rush to get into something serious...and get engaged? We are only 20 yr. old babies...there is no rush!
6.  Music is the beating of my heart and soul....i am kinda emo sometimes, so what?
7.  I hate when I see someone I care about in a bad situation or when they are hurting!
8.  School is taking forever.  it will pay off.
9. even though school is taking forever, i still want to take breaks and travel...but that prolongs the 'school journey'! ah catch-22. boo
10.  I miss russia soo deeply...who would have thought i would ever utter those words?  SWAGGLE DIGGING!!
11.  12 days until Mals gets married and i start spring break! woot woot!
12.  i eat at RIO way too much haha they all recognize me (fat move #213).
13. im so grateful for good examples and strong role models.
14. Oh i took photos of my cousin and her baby...i'll put some up. they're so awesome...love them!  that was a fun day!
15. I CANNOT wait till the drive in opens again...spring fever is killing me right now!

thats for the most part all of the things that are scattered about in my brain. it feels good to get that all out. maybe when I have another 3 week absence, I will spill out another list ha. until then...here are those photos...

ha love this one.
there's more, but these are just a small sampler of some of my faves.

THE END!

The LUCK continues....

I was one of the first 5 on Courts blog, so....

The first five people to respond to this post will get something made by me! My choice. For you.  This offer does have some restrictions and limitations:

1- I make no guarantees that you will like what I make!

2- What I create will be just for you.

3- It'll be done this year (might be a little while).

4- You have no clue what it's going to be.  It may be a story.  It may be poetry or an article on properly cleaning your face before a masque.  I may draw or paint something.  I may bake something and mail it to you.  You knows?  Not you, that's for sure!

5- I reserve the right to do something extremely strange.  The catch?  Oh, the catch is that you must repost this on your blog and offer the same to the first 5 people who do the same on your blog.

The first 5 people to do so and leave a comment telling me they did win a FAB-U-LOUS homemade gift by me!  Oh and be sure to post a picture of what you win when you get it!

VEGAS and Photography!

So we decided to randomly go to vegas this past weekend.  I wasn't planning on it really and I know what you are thinking....Vegas...really?   Well i know, i thought the same thing...what can i do in Vegas that I cant do anywhere else?  But regardless of my doubts I knew I needed a vacation and lucky for me, thats just what it was.  We rode all the fun and crazy rides that i have never rode before because they cost too much or are too scary and I conqured them with assurance.  It was a blast!

Also, since I am a beginner at photography I decided to take a class this semester and we got
our first assignment.  I took advantage of LV and the people I was with (kaisey and corey for the most part...they were so fun and easy to photograph ha) and took a few pics....give me your opinions and critiques...i want them and welcome them!!

Has it really been two years??

At the ripe age of 19 boys from all over the world leave their lives and go and serve selflessly and put their lives on hold.  When they are 21 they come back to reality and pick it all up.  Now for me, i really do feel like all the 'boys' that i knew had left and now it is a week away from the 'men' to come marching in! one word...WOW! one question....where does the time go? one feeling...glee!  i am absolutely so proud of all of my friends and their accomplishments and am soo stoked to be seeing them soon!

Welcome to America!

So i have been home for a week exactly right now.  There are definitely things that i miss and there are things that i have for sure grown a much better appreciation for.  Flushing toilets being number one on that list.  Where that is all good and important that isn't what this blog is about...it is about ants.  yep ants.

We are in the middle of remodeling and there is something about that in which attracts ants.  I couldn't tell you why or what it is but i have seen more ants in the past two days then one person should ever see in a lifetime!  Spots of choice....our lazy susan, above the ovens, the corner of the washing machine and many others.  It honestly is insane.  We will clean out one drawer of utensils and spray it with poison and the next moment we find hundreds more in another nook or cranny.  It is INSANE!

you can't see them very well, but this is exhibit A...
the yellow poison holder is such a lifesaver!!

welp and other then that, there is nothing new. nothing whatsoever.
Glad to be back and going back to school soon.

next blog...'why i could never be a part of a russian couple'...
